It's been 30 years since Shammah Nicholls was founded and, while things have moved on a pace (not least our brand and name
change to SNG), we believe we've preserved the spirit with which the firm was established.

Friendship still ranks as a priority, between both colleagues and clients. And while we live and breathe the law, approaching
every case with drive and determination, we do so in a way that's both ethical and personal.

Our approach is partner-led, which basically means the partner handling your case is the person you deal with day to day.
You won't be introduced once, then fobbed off with juniors and trainees. Through close personal relationships (often forged over
several years), our clients come to trust us; and that's why most of our business comes from referrals.

We think you'll also appreciate our ability to speak in plain English (a talent that's surprisingly difficult to come by in the legal
profession), and we're pretty sure you won't want to get bogged down in the legal nitty gritty. You simply need to know we'll
do the job you need, and do it well. (If you love the complexities of the law as much as we do, then we'll happily give you the
full blown version; but be warned, you may not be able to stop us once we get started.)

SNG may have started life as a niche commercial litigation firm but, with Mark Dennis now heading the firm, it's taken on a more
corporate bias since his arrival in 2002. The merger with Tom Jones' firm Grovers in 2005 also brought a whole host of corporate
and property clients to the firm, which has allowed us to move to the next level. With the right people on board, we've slowly but
surely expanded to offer comprehensive, specialist legal services for businesses. We work with private and public companies of
all sizes, in Manchester and beyond and we've worked hard to build an unshakeable reputation.
